As you know, the new NEN9140:2024 standard has been introduced. This standard sets specific requirements for safe work on electrically powered vehicles. With the emergence of new electrically powered means of transport and technologies, this entails new risks and that is why the standard has been revised. The new NEN standard prescribes working with new equipment.
The GMTO Hybrid equipment package contains all the tools to safely measure and work on Hybrid and EV vehicles and to shield the environment. In addition to the electrically insulating gloves and NEN standardization document NEN 9140, the storage case also contains 6 barrier posts and 25 meters of chain to cordon off the area around the vehicle in question. With the High Voltage System warning sign you make it clear what is happening within the cordoned off zone. It is important to use the correct protective equipment.
