The SEG V as the latest generation headlamp adjuster unites the comprehensive understanding of diagnostic technology experts with that of lighting technology experts. It has an 8.4” touchscreen that faces the user and with which all functions of the device can be controlled simply, clearly and intuitively. The unequivocal identification of the vehicle can be done e.g. via the “Car History”. Thanks to the asanetwork function, work orders can be exchanged between the workshop computer and SEG V using a Dealer Management System (DMS). This enables an efficient way of working. The CMOS camera registers the light distribution of the floodlight, after which it is analysed. Subsequently, the light distribution is displayed on the screen with specific data almost in real time. Vehicle-specific data can be entered before the measurement – via the software associated with the mega macs series. It is also possible to perform rapid tests without accompanying data entry. After the measurement has been completed, the recorded measurement data can be transferred to peripheral equipment via USB or WiFi. The manual and/or automatic level compensation adjusts for slope and unevenness in both directions of the SEG installation site.
